I had so much fun with these two! They let me drag them around through the sticks, and didn't even make fun of me too bad when I was peering through the windows of a house where someone lived.....whoops....I thought is was abandoned. I can't wait for their wedding in June!

It's me! And I'll finally answer your questions!

I am so so so excited for this.....it's going to be a life saver for me! Have you heard of formspring? You can ask me anything--and I'll answer--and it will all be neatly tucked away in a little corner of the www.....yay! I get so many emails each week asking the same questions....equipment/processing/how did I get started/etc. I try my hardest to answer--you're all so nice, but sometimes I get a bit behind. Or a lot behind. sorry!

Hi everyone!! Where have I been?? Not around here, apparently.....so sorry for the lack of posting! I've been spending my time working on so many other fun things, I've been too busy to post over here.

I'm taking a few less sessions this year....my space is pretty limited as of right now--I have ONE wedding opening left in April...and then I'm full through June.

I have so many other creative things that I enjoy doing, and things I WANT to do. My brain is so packed full of ideas (you know.....write and photograph a cookbook, build more tables, work on our house, start an antique store.....) as well as non-creative adventures (vacation with my little family, train for a marathon.....) my lists go on and on (and on!)

But I'm still here and I absolutely love working with clients, and can't wait for some fun weddings I have coming up, and some more Iris and Light projects. I would also love to start shooting some more fashion type sessions, like we did with Rachel, so if you are interested let me know!

On to our next item of business......Jana's dress!! It is so funny--their wedding was in October and I still get new emails every week about her (perfect!) dress. Here is what Jana has to say, and hopefully it will help you out!

"I am very glad that people love my dress; I mean, I loved it and I am glad other people do too! So I think the most helpful information I can pass on is the dress shop. I found the two dresses at The Perfect Dress in Midvale [UT]. The dresses were old, old stock and the designers don't make either of them anymore (which is why I was able to get such a killer deal on them...I wish I at least knew the names of the designers...), but The Perfect Dress has LOTS of great choices in many price points, and really great seamstresses on staff. I just used their steamstress and lucked out since she was on board for the redesigning process, and she really got my vision for the dress"

my nephew is the cutest

isn't he?? And he has also inspired me.....

He was so happy and cute with no clothes on--we just let him play. We didn't dress him up in his "fancies" and haul him outside with some kind of prop and make him miserable while we begged and pleaded for the perfect shot. It's just like how I shoot my own kids--just being "them".

While I am mostly shooting weddings these days, if you would like your family photos au naturale style.....comfortable, in your home, and dressed down (clothing optional if you are under 5:)....let me know--I'd love to come play.

Lindsay and Jeff are married!

Lindsay and Jeff were married on a cold November day....alright, it was a FREEZING November day. I had on 100 layers and was still shivering.....and somehow Lindsay managed to look like her gorgeous self and remained unfazed from the cold!

They were married in the Jordan River LDS Temple, with a very sweet ring ceremony and then gathering with friends and family at Heritage Gardens.

See? Here is proof. Just enjoying these two and doing a lot of playing these days....hope you are too! I'll be back to post a wedding soon, and I'm working on some super fun ideas for 2010...can't wait!
